Who This Program Is For

This program is ideal for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12 who:

Program Focus and Goals

The Baby Bullitt Cheer category emphasizes energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit while teaching core cricket concepts. Our goals are to:

• Introduce players to the rules and spirit of cricket
• Develop basic batting, bowling, and fielding skills
• Encourage teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship
• Promote physical fitness, coordination, and confidence
• Create a fun, inclusive environment for all participants

What Players Will Learn

Cricket Fundamentals

• Understanding the cricket field and player positions
• Basic rules, scoring, and match structure
• Safety and proper use of equipment

Skill Development

• Batting stance, grip, and basic shot selection

• Fielding skills: catching, throwing, and ground fielding

Program Structure

From August through December, players will participate in a balanced mix of:

• Skill stations and drills tailored to age and ability
• Small-sided games and modified match play
• Fun challenges and team-building activities
• Progress check-ins and guidance from coaches

Sessions are designed to keep players active and engaged while gradually building their knowledge and confidence in cricket.
